Ken & Nadine

There’s many things I love about my family… especially the repeat business!! They’ve been very supportive of me and my passion for photography… or perhaps they just want cheap photo and don’t have the nerve to tell me that I’m not that good!! :)

Jokes aside, they’ve been very encouraging and can’t exclaim enough how much I love them! Working in a family business together one would think we’d get sick of each other. On top of that… we even vacation together and haven’t killed each other yet! Well, some of the board games are pretty aggressive and we get darn near close! Stakes can also get pretty high during games of Texas Hold’em – gambeling birthrights and exclusivity on shares of the family business. Ok, perhaps I’m stretching the truth a bit!

Ken is my oldest brother and an avid outdoorsman. He’s also president of our family business, Weaver Companies, Inc. and works hard to keep the ship afloat! In this year of economic challenges and difficult business decisions, I have a lot of respect for what he does!

We’re eagerly anticipating the return of my 2nd oldest brother, Randy, and his family from serving 3 years in Guatemala with ORI. They move back home end of March. It’ll be nice to feel like a complete family again!

I posted my youngest brother’s family photos here a while back. Yes, if you’re counting, that makes 4 of us! He’s the Techie in the family. He keeps us all current with the latest gadgets and technology. Whenever there’s a problem… “ask Dale”! If you need his expertise, you can contact him here. I also just realized that I never posted their recent family photos! More to come of them.

Mom and Dad are spending the winter in Sarasota, FL (a.k.a. Lancaster County South). Karen and I are looking forward to spending a week with them later this month. Sunshine… here we come!!!

Enjoy a few shots of Ken and Nadine’s family…

I’m realizing that I don’t post enough photos of my family! So, I scheduled a shoot with my wife. It’s actually harder than it sounds because we’re both so busy! Well, these were taken on our 12th Anniversary… Valentine’s Day! We celebrated by dining at the fabulous John J. Jeffries!!! We followed up our delectable dinner with Driving Miss Daisy at the Fulton Opera House.

It’s hard to believe it’s been twelve years! It doesn’t seem that long ago that we fell in love… when I asked her to skate with me during the couples skate at the Castle! It seems like just yesterday that I asked her to a fundraiser spaghetti dinner… our first date! Yeah, I know…so romantic!

I’ve heard said that love is like a bottle of wine… better with age! Twelve years ago I wouldn’t have believed that. We were so in love then! How could it get any better? Well, it has!! I can’t imagine my life without Karen. She completes me! She’s the spark in my engine!… the wind in my sail! She is my precious!!!

Karen, you are my beautiful!!! I love you more than ever!!

We did this shoot early January… and boy, was it freezing! If she looks a little cold… it’s because she was! After rescheduling several times due to weather, she decided to brave the cold and git-r-done. This was definitely a more challenging shoot due to the cold…and did I mention the wind?! However, I was glad to come away with a few keepers. Thanks for being a great sport! Meet Gemesen!
