Please take a minute (or an hour) to hear the moving story of this missionary couple who were trapped in the rubble from the earthquake in Haiti. It made me think about the frailness of life and how precious each moment is! This couple has kissed the face of death… to the point of saying, “Jesus, here we come…”. What a wonderful testimony… to see others praising God in the midst of destruction and despair! Be sure to watch to the end to hear the beautiful song these two sing together (I believe it’s by Hillsong).

No, I didn’t find him on Model Mayhem!… he’s my brother-in-law! Finishing out his last year at Temple studying architecture he found some time to help me set up my make-shift studio and even model a few shots to try it out. Keith is determined and driven to succeed at whatever he sets out for. Never afraid of a challenge! In fact, after playing many board games with him, we thought he should start a company and name it “I Win, Inc.” I wish you the best Keith as you finish up school this year. Continue to embrace life and live it to the fullest! Given your ambition, determination, IQ… and, of course GQ!… I have no doubts you’ll be successful! Whatever your hands find to do… do it unto the glory of God! Love you Bro!

Love is in the air! I had the privilege of taking engagement photos of this sweet couple last November. It was a brisk morning but they were good sports about it. After all, what else do you need but you’re love’s arms around you? Ok, maybe a sweatshirt…but nothing else matters when you’re in love! Thanks for meeting me so early that morning! Just spent Christmas and New Year at our family cabin near Raystown Lake. What a wonderful and special time it was. I absolutely loved hanging out with Karen’s family the first half of our vacation. Playing games…unwrapping gifts…eating! There’s nothing like spending Christmas with family who are also among your best friends! Thanks for a wonderful time guys!

After they left for home on Monday… Karen, the boys and I stayed up till Friday morning to ring in the New Year. After a busy year it was nice to just sit and relax for a few days. Spending some time reflecting, praying and seeking God for the coming year. I’m thankful for so much this past year. Especially for health and His provision. God has also stretched me in a lot of ways…getting me outside my comfort zone for sure! I’m excited about the possibilities this year holds…even with our present economy.
