Just chill’n and enjoying the end-of-summer evenings.  It won’t be long till this bench will be covered with that cold powdery white stuff!  ….sigh….

As our contribution to this year’s school auction, Karen and I decided to enter a theme basket for a makeover and photo shoot. Here are a few pics of the family that bought it. Karen showed up at their house an hour before I did to give Mom and the girls makeovers (She offered it to Dad too, but he was “good”). This was my first time photographing people I didn’t know… so I was a bit nervous! Plus, it was mid-day sun so I wasn’t too sure my photos would turn out well. All-in-all, we got to know each other after a few minutes of shooting, and I felt like I got some good shots.

Aaahh!  Brotherly love!  For every spat there’s twice the love.  It blesses my heart to see them play together so well.

Karen and I had the chance to babysit our nieces for an evening while Mom & Dad went out for dinner and a movie.  Of course, my wife couldn’t resist giving them a makeover!!  What could be more fun than playing with makeup for a couple of hours and then having free “glamour shots” with uncle Lar!

My very first blog post!!  I’ve thought about doing this for a while but just never seemed to have the time.  I checked out a few different blog engines and finally settled into Wordpress.  There’s just so many options out there. 

As some of you know, I’ve been studying/learning photography in the recent years.  So, I’ve decided to share with you all from time to time the different things I’m working on.  Hope you enjoy!
