My Precious!!

I’m realizing that I don’t post enough photos of my family! So, I scheduled a shoot with my wife. It’s actually harder than it sounds because we’re both so busy! Well, these were taken on our 12th Anniversary… Valentine’s Day! We celebrated by dining at the fabulous John J. Jeffries!!! We followed up our delectable dinner with Driving Miss Daisy at the Fulton Opera House.

It’s hard to believe it’s been twelve years! It doesn’t seem that long ago that we fell in love… when I asked her to skate with me during the couples skate at the Castle! It seems like just yesterday that I asked her to a fundraiser spaghetti dinner… our first date! Yeah, I know…so romantic!

I’ve heard said that love is like a bottle of wine… better with age! Twelve years ago I wouldn’t have believed that. We were so in love then! How could it get any better? Well, it has!! I can’t imagine my life without Karen. She completes me! She’s the spark in my engine!… the wind in my sail! She is my precious!!!

Karen, you are my beautiful!!! I love you more than ever!!

We did this shoot early January… and boy, was it freezing! If she looks a little cold… it’s because she was! After rescheduling several times due to weather, she decided to brave the cold and git-r-done. This was definitely a more challenging shoot due to the cold…and did I mention the wind?! However, I was glad to come away with a few keepers. Thanks for being a great sport! Meet Gemesen!

No, I didn’t find him on Model Mayhem!… he’s my brother-in-law! Finishing out his last year at Temple studying architecture he found some time to help me set up my make-shift studio and even model a few shots to try it out. Keith is determined and driven to succeed at whatever he sets out for. Never afraid of a challenge! In fact, after playing many board games with him, we thought he should start a company and name it “I Win, Inc.” :) I wish you the best Keith as you finish up school this year. Continue to embrace life and live it to the fullest! Given your ambition, determination, IQ… and, of course GQ!… I have no doubts you’ll be successful! Whatever your hands find to do… do it unto the glory of God! Love you Bro!

I love photographing seniors! I didn’t have too many this year so I was glad when I got call from Ashlynn! We could not have had a nicer day. Not only is she beautiful, but the lighting was terrific. There’s so many more photos I would like to post… but I’ll just stick with these for now! Thanks for an awesome shoot Ashlynn!

Sugar and spice and everything nice… that’s what Kayla’s made of! Wow! a senior this year?! How time flies! Before you know it… it’ll be engagement photos I’ll be taking of her. Then again, plans of college may put those dreams on hold a bit. Blessings to you Kayla as you begin writing new chapters in your book of life! Thanx for a great shoot! BTW…you have a beautiful smile!

Well, better late than never!  We promised “Glamour Shots” as her Mother’s Day gift and only now delivering.  Thanks to my lovely wife Karen for providing the makeover.  I didn’t realize how beautiful my mother really is!  (…and photogenic!)

The lil sis I never had! Colorful…joyful…sweet…talkative (I use that term loosely) and, of course, adorable! Since she turned 16 I don’t get to catch up on those “infrequent” drives home where I’d get the “happenings” in her life. Now I gotta schedule a photo opt. to get the details (…and details I got!). Don’t worry Kayla…I won’t mention names!

Thanx Kayla for letting me practice on you. I hope you like the photos.
